From the Rebbetzin

During Channukah of 5763, our whole community received a special gift: the opening of the La Jolla Mikvah. We opened on December 3rd, 2002 marking a true milestone for our community.

We view our Mikvah as a unique place for spiritual renewal. We've created a spa-like atmosphere so that our guests can prepare in tranquil surroundings. Plush towels and robes, soothing candles, soft colors and state-of-the-art facilities ensure that each visit to our Mikvah is a pleasant one.

In terms of the Mikvah itself, the Rabbi has worked hard to make sure that our Mikvah meets the highest standards of halacha, Jewish law, so that women from all walks of Judaism can enjoy our Mikvah.

We hope that our Mikvah will be embraced by all the women of our community. Whether you are a bride, a veteran Mikvah user or someone coming for the very first time, our Mikvah has something to offer you.

Over the years, I have thoroughly enjoyed learning the laws of Family Purity with the women of our community. These sessions have provided me with a wealth of knowledge and inspiration, through the unique insights of each of my "students." I look forward to continuing to learn and grow with you. I am always open to new suggestions.

In these troubling times, it is more important than ever that we work on strengthening our families. There is no more fitting way to do this than to enhance observance of Taharat HaMishpacha.

I extend a tremendous thank you to the women (and men!) whose vision and dedication over the past 15 years have helped make our Mikvah a reality.
