Terror Relief Fund
The Terror Relief Fund's mission is to safeguard those at risk during conflict by providing protective equipment, ensuring they can lead their lives safely. We prioritize offering immediate medical supplies to the injured and ensuring rapid accessibility in crisis moments. Working with relevant humanitarian organizations such as Magen David Adom, Leket National Food Bank, Bar Ilan University Medical School, and Isra Aid Humanitarian Support Group, we deliver essential resources including food, shelter, clothing, and emotional support to families in need. Our alliances also encompass numerous grassroots organizations that act promptly in regions requiring immediate assistance.
Let us, as a united and Religious Zionist Modern Orthodox community, demonstrate our steadfast support for Israel through tangible means, ensuring our contributions make a meaningful difference on the ground.
In addition to our heartfelt prayers financial assistance is critical. Please click on this link or alternatively email or call the office. www.adatyeshurun.org/form/TVRF.html

Adat Yeshurun Stands With Shlomit
Many who joined for the gala were inspired by the video about the community and heroes of Shlomit. We wanted to share it. We believe that there are many others who might want to join us in our efforts to support and build up Shlomit and we ask you to consider sending the link to the video to as many of your friends and contacts as you are comfortable. We also included the link below so that they can easily donate to this cause. 100% of everything they give will go to Shlomit. Let’s try work together to maximize the gift to help move Shlomit forward.
We all look forward to peace in Israel, and IYH the day that we will see a beautiful shul built in Shlomit with the help of our community. Kol Hakavod to all, and we encourage everyone to view the VIDEO on Shlomit ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOIdEJE23cw ) and encourage all to continue to donate generously to this cause.
If you wish to make a general donation to the Fundraiser please use this link https://www.adatyeshurun.org/form/AdatStandsWithShlomit.html
Thank you for your support!
Welcome to Congregation Adat Yeshurun!
Congregation Adat Yeshurun is a vibrant Jewish community in the heart of La Jolla (“The Jewel”), California where we are blessed with beautiful weather year-round. Our membership is diverse, coming from many different countries and backgrounds, blending together to create a welcoming atmosphere of caring and spiritual growth.
Not all of our members come from an Orthodox background, but we all come to Adat Yeshurun to grow spiritually and intellectually, and to increase our understanding of Judaism and what it means to be an observant Jew. Join us for classes or services and experience it yourself!
Our Facilities:
We are an Orthodox synagogue located on the east side of La Jolla Scenic Drive North close to Highway 5 and La Jolla Village Drive and Ardath Road in La Jolla, California.
The community was started 36 years ago by Rabbi Jeffrey and Shoshie Wohlgelernter and now consists of approximately 250 families. Rabbi Daniel Reich is the Rabbi of the congregation and runs an extensive Adult Education program for every level of Jewish learning. The classes are open to members and non-members. We have a vibrant Youth Program, which include Shabbat morning groups, NCSY and Chillin with the Rabbi activities.
We are a Congregation made up of many types of Jews, and pride ourselves on the ability for everyone to feel involved and connected. The warmth and friendliness of our congregation is apparent and can be experienced every Shabbat during Kiddush.
We are proud of our building and premises, which were completed in August 2001. The sanctuary is built around our beautiful Bimah and Aron Kodesh, and displays our extensive library. We have a beautiful and newly remodeled women’s mikvah. A Keilim mikvah is also available to the community.
Both members and non-members may rent our new facility for weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, bris and birthday celebrations. Our shul sets up stunningly for parties and many local caterers have praised our kitchen.
Our Shul is an active, growing, vibrant community that would love to welcome you in its midst. We have programming for all ages. Some of our great programs include: Chanukah party; Purim Spiel and Seudah; Yom Kippur Break fast; Sukkah Barbecue; Shavuot Dinner and all night learning, children’s programs; youth groups; and shabbas morning children’s groups.
For additional information about our shul and membership please call (858) 535-1196, visit our shul, or email us.
